The invitation

You’ve spent years trying to be the “good daughter”, the one who doesn’t upset, disappoint, or outshine your mother.

You learned early that love was conditional, that your feelings were inconvenient, and that your worth depended on how well you met others’ needs.

But deep down, you’ve always known there was more to you.

You’re not broken... you were conditioned to survive.

Now, it’s time to come home to yourself.

How I can help

As a counsellor and holistic therapist, I specialise in helping daughters of narcissistic mothers heal the wounds of emotional neglect, control, and criticism.

Together, we’ll explore your story with compassion, helping you:

  • Understand how growing up with a narcissistic mother shaped your patterns and beliefs.

  • Release guilt and self-blame that never belonged to you.

  • Reconnect with your body’s wisdom and inner guidance.

  • Build healthy boundaries and a calm, regulated nervous system.

  • Develop self-compassion and a strong sense of self-worth.

My Approach

I work holistically, drawing from evidence-based approaches like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), and mindfulness-based techniques.

Our sessions may include:

Somatic awareness – tuning into the wisdom of your body

Mindful breathing and grounding – to calm the nervous system and create safety

Inner child work – to heal early wounds and unmet needs

Psychoeducation – empowering you with knowledge about trauma, emotions, and the nervous system

I’m directive when needed, walking alongside you with gentle guidance - offering tools, insights, and embodied practices that support lasting change.

What Healing Can Look Like

  • You begin to trust your feelings again.

  • You say “no” without guilt.

  • You feel calm in your own body.

  • You stop chasing love that hurts.

  • You start showing up for yourself, not out of fear, but from self-respect.

Healing from a narcissistic mother is a process of remembering who you are beneath the conditioning.
It’s gentle, profound, and deeply empowering.

Frequently Asked Questions

What kinds of issues do you help with?

I specialise in supporting daughters of narcissistic mothers who want to heal from emotional neglect, people-pleasing, and self-doubt. Many of my clients are learning to set healthy boundaries, regulate their nervous system, and reconnect with their authentic self.

What can I expect in a counselling session?

Our sessions are collaborative and paced at your comfort level. I blend evidence-based approaches like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrrative Therapy, and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) with somatic tools such as breathwork, mindfulness, and intuitive body awareness.

You’ll leave each session with greater clarity, self-understanding, and practical tools you can use between sessions.

Do I have to talk about my mother?

Only if and when you’re ready. Healing doesn’t always start with rehashing the past. It often begins by understanding how old patterns show up in your present life and gently working with them. Together, we create a safe and grounded space where you can explore at your own pace.

I’m still in contact with my mother , can counselling still help me?

Absolutely. Many of my clients are still in contact with their mothers or aren’t ready (or able, or want) to go no-contact. Therapy can help you learn how to stay emotionally grounded, manage guilt and manipulation, and relate from a place of inner strength and self-trust.

What is somatic therapy?

Somatic therapy acknowledges that our bodies hold memories, emotions, and protective patterns. By gently bringing awareness to physical sensations and the breath, you can release stored tension, reconnect with your body’s wisdom, and experience deep emotional healing, taking things beyond just cognitive understanding.

How long will I need counselling for?

It depends on your goals and personal circumstances. Some people come for short-term support (6–12 sessions) to work through a specific issue, while others stay longer to heal more deeply ingrained patterns. We’ll discuss your goals and progress regularly so therapy remains aligned with your needs.

Do you offer online sessions?

Yes. I offer both in-person sessions in Melville (WA) and online sessions. Many clients find online therapy equally effective and more convenient.

How much does it cost?

Sessions are 45~50 minutes and priced at $160.

I also offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to see if we’re the right fit before you commit.

Are your sessions confidential?

Yes. Everything you share in counselling remains confidential, except in very specific legal circumstances (which I’ll explain clearly in your first session).

What if my mother was not officially diagnosed

You do not need an official diagnosis for your experiences to be valid or for counselling to help.

Most narcissistic mothers are never diagnosed, because they rarely seek therapy, and if they do, they often minimise, deflect, or present only the parts of themselves they want others to see.

What matters most is how you were affected growing up.
If you experienced emotional neglect, constant criticism, guilt, control, fear of upsetting her, or if you still struggle with people pleasing, self doubt, or guilt in adulthood, these are real signs of a narcissistic family dynamic.

In counselling, we focus on your story, your patterns, and your healing, not on whether your mother meets a clinical checklist.
Your pain is real, your feelings are real, and you deserve support, with or without a formal diagnosis.

You are not imagining things, and you do not need permission to heal.

How do I get started?

You can book a free 15-minute consultation directly through my website. This is a relaxed chat to discuss what you’re looking for, ask questions, and get a feel for how I work.
